Blades into the Odd

This is a hack for running the default setting of Blades in the Dark with Into the Odd. You will need Into the Odd to play. While this was made for the Blades setting, you can use this material to hack Into the Odd for other purposes e.g. crime in a grimy, supernatural, Victorian inspired city setting. It contains:

• Revised character creation: Revised rules that give a character an equipment budget instead of preset gear and rules for a Vice your character must keep on top off.
• Equipment: A list of gear based on Blades, but more ‘grounded’, and ready for Into the Odd use. Magical items are not featured, this is for a more ‘grounded’ game where PCs aren’t using magic and are often rough and ready criminals.
• Lairs: A costing of home bases and various concrete upgrades that were featured in Blades in the Dark. This integrates Into the Odd's ‘enterprise’ rules as businesses.
• Travel: A minimalist travel procedure designed to work with the Blades setting. It assumes you are running a city with districts and that there are landmarks within those districts.
• Encounters: A procedure for making encounter tables, designed to take the trait information of districts from the Blades setting and encode them.
• NPC Templates: Some generalist templates for people, ghosts and vampires that enable you to quickly produce stats for people in the Blades setting or a similar one. You can also use these for Detachments (see Into the Odd rules).
• Factions: Factions are a big part of the Blades setting, but featured here is a more Odd-like faction system.
